Jewelry Care & Repair Policy

Jewelry Care

Gemstone Jewelry Care

Some gemstones are sensitive to water (they may corrode with constant contact with water) so we suggest just wiping your gemstones, instead of washing them. Wipe your gemstone jewelry with a clean soft cloth after every use. This will remove dirt, sweat, oil, and products you applied to your skin before and/or while wearing it, like perfume, lotion, cream, etc. Stones are fragile and can break, crack, or scratch if not handled with care. Avoid extreme heat.

Store your Paul Raymond Jewelry in its pouch or box for safe keeping.

For gemstone energy cleansing, refer to this guide: How To Cleanse Your Gemstones

Cord Jewelry Care

To clean the thread/fabric on your cord bracelet, occasionally wash it with a soft sponge and mild soap in lukewarm water.

Metal Jewelry Care

Plated Stainless Steel, Gold Plated Over Brass/Alloy, etc.

Protect the plating of your jewelry by removing it when washing your hands, swimming, exercising, cleaning and before applying any kind of personal body product. Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as soaps, perfume, lotion, makeup, hair, and cleaning products, etc.

Never wipe your plated jewelry with Silver Cleaning solution. Only wipe it with a soft clean cloth after every use to remove dirt, sweat, and personal body product. Using jewelry dips or polishes is not recommended as they may contain harsh abrasives.

Always wear your rubber or metal safety backs with your earrings to prevent loss.

Sterling Silver Jewelry Care

Sterling Silver is delicate and may be damaged if not handled with care.

Remove jewelry when washing your body, swimming, exercising, or cleaning. Avoid contact with soaps, perfume, lotion, makeup, hair, and cleaning products.

To clean, gently rub your jewelry with a clean soft cloth in one direction. Do not use products like tissue paper or paper towels, as they can cause scratching. A silver cleaner can be used on pure Sterling Silver pieces, but not 14k Gold Filled or any other plated jewelry. Our Silver jewelry is high quality, but may wear with time and improper care.

14k Gold Filled Jewelry Care

Wash your Paul Raymond Gold Filled Jewelry with gentle soap, rinse well, and dry completely with a soft cloth. Using jewelry dips or polishes is not recommended as they may contain harsh abrasives.

Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding contact with agents such as perfume, lotion, makeup, hair, and cleaning products. Always remove your jewelry before swimming and exercising.
