WHAT IS 316 STAINLESS STEEL?
Our 316 Stainless Steel (also referred to as 316 SS) offers the usual standard corrosion resistance, strength, and easy-to-maintain properties for which stainless steel is known. One main advantage of this type of Stainless Steel is that it gives vastly superior corrosion resistance to chlorides and acids compared 304 SS, the type that used in more affordable Stainless Steel jewelry.

316 SS is more tarnish/corrosion resistant than 304 SS.
